I was involved in three major peace tables in the Philippines: peace negotiations with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front, the Communist Party of the Philippines, and the

human rights work



As a lawyer at the Office of the Solicitor General, statutory counsel of the Philippine Government, I represented various government agencies, instrumentalities, and 


I was Senior Lecturer I at the University of the Philippines College of Law, teaching Legal History and Administrative Law.

At the Commission on Human Rights, I was the founding Head of the Analysis Unit, and my team sought to determine whether the drug-related killings being investigated by the Commission were part of large-scale human rights
