At the Commission on Human Rights, I was the founding Head of the Analysis Unit, and my team sought to determine whether the drug-related killings being investigated by the Commission were part of large-scale human rights violations. I was also involved in the National Task Force Against Extrajudicial Killings, and I also headed the Center for Crisis, Conflict, and Humanitarian Protection.

The Analysis Unit is mandated to determine whether large-scale human rights violations are being committed and to formulate strategic and policy responses to said abuses

Deputy Coordinator, CHR National Task Force against Extrajudicial Killings 

The CHR EJK Task Force is tasked with monitoring and documenting alleged extrajudicial killings, with the end in view of producing data-driven recommendations for victim support and access to justice.

The Center for Crisis, Conflict, and Humanitarian Protection (CCCHP) serves as the Commission’s focal point in the development, coordination, and implementation of programs, projects, and activities relating to the human rights of individuals and communities in crisis and conflict situations, by upholding human rights laws, the international humanitarian law, and humanitarian standards in monitoring the state’s compliance to its obligations to respect, protect, and fulfill human rights.
